Discover the living ironstone museum in the heart of Rutland.

It is regrettable that the reopening of the Museum this year has had to be delayed due to over running engineering works. Whilst good progress has been made this week by the volunteers with re-instating track following drainage improvements further work is still necessary to rebuild the pedestrian boarded crossing to access the railway platform. Consequently it has been decided that the Museum will now re-open for the season on Sunday 4th May. This means that the planned Driver for a Fiver event originally planned for Sunday 27th April will now not take place but it is hoped to add another event of this type later in the year. Keep up to date with what is happening at the Museum on our Facebook page or events page .
