CAB FROM RB110 DRAGLINE.

Cab from RB110 dragline.

The drivers cab from a Ruston Bucyrus RB110 dragline. This electrically powered machine was supplied in 1961 to Barrington Cement Works Quarry with an elevated cab to improve operator vision. The machine was used to excavate clay and load the quarry trains.The machine was retired in 2005 and subsequently broken up for scrap but the museum was fortunate in saving the cab and the dragline bucket for preservation. In the photo below this cab is just visible:
