Rounding off the year is our Steam Gala. We hope to offer three locomotives in steam, both the resident Andrew Barclays plus Beyer Peacock No.1879 from the Foxfield Light Railway. You know how steam locos look in the cold November air don’t you? A highlight of our year! Steam hauled brake van rides, quarry demonstration trains, rakes of iron ore hoppers roaring up the bank.
